EAPRIL Memberships

• Please note that EAPRIL memberships run per calendar year. This means that memberships will always expire at the end of the calendar year, regardless of when they have been purchased.

• EAPRIL memberships are non-refundable and are deemed exempt from the EU right of withdrawal, according to Article 16 of the Consumer Rights Directive (Directive
  2011/83/EU)

• EAPRIL Student membership applicants are required to upload a proof of their student status to their membership purchase consisting of a letter signed by their supervisor/coordinator with clear indication of the period of their student enrollment. Approval of the student membership is conditional upon receipt of both the payment and the required proof.

Registration

• Conference registration tickets are non-refundable, regardless of the reason or cancellation date and are deemed exempt from the EU right of withdrawal, according to Article 16 of the Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU).

• Conference registration cannot be transferred to someone else.

• Please note that you will only get access to members fees after you're membership has been purchased and approved.

Social events

• Please note that conference-related tickets for social events (dinners, school visits, ...) are non-refundable and deemed exempt from the EU right of withdrawal, according to Article 16 of the Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU).

• You may transfer your ticket to another person, either as a gift or by selling it on, without intervention of the EAPRIL Office.

Communication

• EAPRIL will send updates and information on a regular basis.

• You are free to unsubsribe from our mailing list at any time.

Payments

For purchases EAPRIL offers the following payment methods:

Please be aware that your (credit) card will be charged immediately after the purchase has been done.

Please note that as of August 2025 an extra transaction fee of 1,9% per order will be charged.

Insurance

The conference organisers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, for loss of, or damage to property belonging to conference participants (or their accompanying persons), either during or as a result of the conference. Please check the validity of your own travel insurance.

EAPRIL excludes all liability or obligation when an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond the control of EAPRIL occur that prevents it from actually hosting the conference/event.
